Please read our rental policies carefully before booking your adventure.
Driver Eligibility & Documents
The renter must possess a valid original Indian Driving License or an International Driving Permit (IDP).
The driver must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid government ID (Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport) is mandatory for verification. Local residents may need to provide proof of employment or business.
Adventure Cars reserves the right to deny booking if documents are found invalid or suspicious.
Security Deposit & Refunds
A refundable security deposit is required before handing over the vehicle. The amount varies by car model (₹3,000 - ₹10,000).
The deposit will be refunded within 24-48 hours after the vehicle is returned and inspected for damages or traffic violations.
In case of damages, the repair estimate will be deducted from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit, the renter is liable to pay the balance.
Fuel, Speed & Usage
Fuel Policy: We follow a "Tank-to-Tank" policy. The car is provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
Speed Limit: The maximum speed limit is 80 km/h on highways and 40-50 km/h in hilly terrain (Meghalaya/Arunachal).
Overspeeding (above 100 km/h) attracts a penalty of ₹500 per instance. Continuous overspeeding may result in remote engine immobilization.
Smoking and drinking alcohol inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited and will incur a cleaning fine of ₹1,500.
Damages & Insurance
In case of an accident, the renter must inform the Adventure Cars support team immediately (+91 69008 38115).
Minor Damages: Scratches, dents, or broken parts (mirrors/lights) are to be paid by the customer as per the authorized service center estimate.
Major Accidents: Insurance claims will be processed. The customer is liable to pay the file charges and the downtime loss (rent for the days the car is in the garage).
Towing charges, if applicable due to negligence or accidents, are to be borne by the customer.
Note for Off-Roading: While our 4x4 SUVs are capable, damages to the underbody, clutch burnout due to improper driving, or tyre bursts are NOT covered under insurance and will be charged fully to the customer.
