Damage liability & protection plan
Every car is comprehensively insured. In case of damage, your liability is capped at the insurance excess — ₹5,000 for hatchbacks and compact SUVs, ₹10,000 for 7-seater SUVs. An optional protection plan at ₹300/day reduces that to zero for single-vehicle damage. Tyres, rims, undercarriage damage from off-road use, and driving under the influence are excluded, as they are with every insurer. For 2–5 people, the Hyundai Creta or Maruti Grand Vitara give good ground clearance and luggage space for Shillong, Cherrapunji and Dawki. For 6–7 people or long Arunachal drives such as Tawang, choose the Mahindra Scorpio-N, Mahindra XUV700 or Toyota Innova Crysta. Self-drive rates include 400 km per day; tell us your route on WhatsApp and we will suggest the right car.
Yes. LGBI Airport, Guwahati is one of our pickup options. Send your flight number, arrival date and time, rental dates and return point before booking. Agree the meeting point and handover time with us on WhatsApp; vehicle availability is confirmed before payment. Bring your original driving licence held for at least one year, government photo ID and address proof.
You can collect in Guwahati for a Shillong trip. Our route guide gives roughly 125 km from LGBI Airport to Shillong, compared with about 100 km and 3–3.5 hours from Guwahati city; airport handover, traffic and stops add time. A different return point is an arrangement to request, not a guaranteed one-way service. Shillong handover or collection is on request from our Guwahati fleet, with charges and timing agreed in the quote.
The self-drive daily rate includes the vehicle and 400 km per day, pooled across multi-day bookings; extra kilometres cost ₹10/km. Fuel is separate: return the car at the recorded handover fuel level. FASTag toll usage is settled at return. Ask for a written total showing the rental period, booking token, vehicle-specific refundable deposit, parking and any agreed delivery or collection charges. A self-drive daily rate is not a driver-included trip price.
An original driving licence valid for at least one year, Aadhaar or passport, and one address proof. For outstation trips we also take a photo of the licence and a signed rental agreement. Learner's licences are not accepted.
21 years for hatchbacks and compact SUVs, 23 years for 7-seater SUVs. Drivers under 25 are welcome — we only ask for a clean licence held for a full year.
₹2,000 to ₹4,000 depending on the vehicle — it matches one day's rental, and the Force Urbania needs no deposit at all. It is refunded within 24–48 hours of return, after a joint check of fuel level, challans and damage.
Self drive bookings include 400 km per day. Beyond that we charge a flat ₹10 per extra km on every car. Multi-day trips pool the limit, so a 4-day booking gives you 1,600 km to use as you like. Unlimited-km packages are available on request.
Self drive cars are handed over with a noted fuel level and returned at the same level — you pay only for what you use. FASTag is active on every car; toll charges used during your trip are settled at return from the deposit.
Yes. Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland both require an Inner Line Permit for Indian travellers, applied online on the state portal or collected at entry points like Bhalukpong and Dimapur. Meghalaya, Assam and Sikkim need no ILP for Indians. We share the current checklist by WhatsApp before you leave, and our cars carry all-India permits so state borders are never a problem.
Yes. Our fleet carries all-India tourist permits and valid insurance, so Meghalaya, Arunachal, Nagaland, Manipur and Sikkim are all allowed. Just tell us the route when booking so we can brief you on check gates and fuel stops.

Cancel more than 48 hours before pickup and the token is fully refunded. Between 48 and 24 hours we hold it as credit for a future booking. Inside 24 hours the token is retained, since the car has already been blocked for you.
