1. Eligibility and documents

Self drive renters must be at least 21 years old (23 for 7-seater SUVs) and hold a valid Indian driving licence held for at least one year. Learner's licences and international licences without a valid IDP are not accepted.

We collect and verify the original licence, a government photo ID and one address proof at handover. A signed rental agreement is required before the vehicle leaves our custody.

2. Booking confirmation and payment

A booking is confirmed only when the refundable token of ₹2,000 is received. The balance rental amount and the security deposit are payable at pickup.

We do not require full online prepayment. Prices quoted at the time of confirmation are held for that booking.

3. Vehicle usage

The vehicle may be driven only by the renter and any additional driver recorded in the agreement. Sub-letting, commercial passenger use, racing, off-road use beyond the vehicle's design, and towing are prohibited.

Driving under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicant voids all insurance protection and makes the renter fully liable for damage, third-party claims and legal consequences.

4. Fuel, tolls and kilometre limits

Self drive vehicles are supplied and returned at the same recorded fuel level. Daily bookings include 400 km per day, pooled across the booking period; extra kilometres are billed at a flat ₹10 per km.

FASTag tolls incurred during the rental, plus any inter-state permit fees, are payable by the renter and are settled from the deposit at return.

5. Damage, fines and liability

All vehicles carry comprehensive insurance. In the event of damage, the renter is liable up to the insurance excess (₹5,000 for hatchbacks and compact SUVs, ₹10,000 for 7-seater SUVs), unless the optional protection plan was purchased.

Traffic challans, parking fines and penalties issued during the rental period are the renter's responsibility, including those received after the vehicle is returned.

6. Breakdown and delays

We provide 24/7 support coordination. If a vehicle becomes unusable due to a mechanical fault not caused by misuse, we will arrange repair or a replacement where feasible and refund the unused rental period if we cannot.

We are not liable for consequential losses such as missed flights, hotel bookings or onward travel arising from breakdowns, road closures, landslides, weather or law-and-order situations.

7. Late return

A grace period of one hour applies. Beyond that, late returns are charged at one-fourth of the daily rate for every additional four hours, up to a full day's rate.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam.
